Many who have vistited my site know that I have worked very hard to conquer my own medical condition. I could not lift, I had no endurance, my pain was incredible. I was suppossed to get worse but instead, through the grace of God, I have indeed become so much better. I can do more than I could before I was sick except that I still can't walk continuosly very often, but the fact is that I have indeed walked about two miles straight in the sand and can run. (Although I look like a robot when I run...) Don't tell my doctor, I am running, she will be mad at me!
that I am opening an office! All my doctors know this and are glad to see this happening.
Mary Jo is still with me and ready to help take up the slack when/if things get crazy. But yes, the time has come to build the type of practice that puts the patient first.
Many have asked and I didn't think it was possible, but what can you do when everything starts falling into place with almost no effort? Friends, family and even strangers gather around to help put things together for me and it has been amazing to watch!
My gratitude is endless and I am humbled. Even my medical equipment was practically given to me from another doctor leaving his practice. A man I had never met who passed by and felt "moved" to step in and lend support.
